CUPE acute care members from across the province are being asked to join a very important town hall meeting May 7th at 7 pm where they will receive an update on provincial bargaining, as well as an update on the Shared Service initiative.
Most of us will be receiving a call on May 7th @ 7, all you need to do if you would like to attend the meeting is answer your phone! If you don't recieve a call, (we may not have current contact information for you) you can still join the meeting by calling 1-888-886-6602. Then, when asked, key in the following number 18822, and when promted enter the pound (#) sign.
This will take you into the meeting. You will be able to ask questions and make comments.

March 22 Sydney Town Hall meeting on cuts to school boards
Parents with children in the Cape Breton-Victoria Regional School Board (CBVRSB) and all community members concerned about cuts to our school system are invited to a town hall meeting sponsored by CUPE Local 5050.
WHEN: Thursday, March 22 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm
WHERE: Grand Lake Road Fire Hall, Auditorium
WHAT: Panel discussion on impact of cuts, moderated by broadcaster Jay MacNeil. Opportunity for questions afterwards.
Entertainment provided by Kintyre Lite. Light refreshments will also be provided
CBVRSB Board members and local MLA’s have all been invited.
